Asphalt Plants
Templeton Paving has three asphalt plants in Central Virginia that serve the counties of Campbell, Bedford, Pittsylvania, Amherst, Nelson, Appomattox, Buckingham, Prince Edward and Charlotte. These plants produce Hot Mix Asphalt throughout the year that may be purchased onsite. Please call prior to coming for rate information and scheduling purposes as these are seasonal operations.
Hot Mix Asphalt Pavement
Hot Mix Asphalt Pavement is a blend of aggregate, sand and liquid asphalt to make bituminous concrete, or, blacktop. We provide a soap rack with a VDOT-approved release agent for use by your hauling vehicles to easily transport asphalt pavement. Please check in at the scalehouse at each plant location prior to driving on to the plant site.
CRS-2 is a Cationic Rapid-Set Emulsified Asphalt that is used for bonding existing pavements to new asphalt (tack) and as a Surface Treatment asphalt (tar and chip).
RC-250 is a Rapid-Curing Cutback Asphalt that is used in Prime and Surface Treatment applications.
Both of these materials are in stock and available at our Lawyers Road location.

Bagged Cold Mix Asphalt is available at our Lawyers Road location in 60 lb bags or pallet quantities. Templeton Paving is a distributor of Bond-X Cold Patch by Seaboard Asphalt. Please call ahead for pallet quantity orders.
Asphalt Laboratories
It is imperative that a top quality paving job begin with a top quality product. Templeton Paving has two laboratories where we design, test and monitor all asphalt pavements produced from our plants. Both are VDOT- approved laboratories operated by VDOT-certified technicians who work to ensure the quality of the material we ship.
